Prof. Gouldstone is Recipient of Best Paper Award

MIE Professor Andrew Gouldstone was the recipient of the Journal of Thermal Spray Technology Best Paper Award at the International Thermal Spray Conference for his paper "On the Role of Bubbles in Metallic Splat Nanopores and Adhesion". The work shows that the first hundred nanoseconds of liquid droplet impact strongly effects surface adhesion.
