Our mission is to implement initiatives that promote awareness, and education within our department community.
Vision
Our vision is a department where belonging is embraced as a fundamental strength, a reality for all, and woven into the fabric of life.
Interests of the Committee
Raising awareness and providing learning opportunities for our community members through workshops, events, dialogues, and activities centered on embedding belonging principles into pedagogy, research, and service.
Establishing an environment within the MIE department where all individuals can share their experiences and exchange ideas to foster and advance belonging. Our department is stronger as a result of the varied backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives that all members of our global community bring to the pursuit of knowledge.
