Aerospace NU

AerospaceNU was founded in 2012 by students to create hands-on opportunities for undergraduates at Northeastern to engage with aerospace projects. Since then, the club has impacted the academic and professional trajectory of thousands of Northeastern students, earning AeroNU a reputation as a leader among hands-on College of Engineering organizations. With more than 200 active members at any given time, AeroNU is recognized as one of the largest COE organizations and conducts over 20 projects that span multiple disciplines of aerospace to engage as many learners as possible.

The key subjects AeroNU has explored over the years are solid-fuel rocketry, liquid rocket propulsion, drone and plane research and development, drone racing, and weather balloons. AeroNU also hosts an Introduction to Aerospace program each year to onboard underclassmen into rocketry, drone, and propulsion basics. Our nationally recognized club continues to grow and advance, producing hundreds of successful students in aerospace-related careers each year.
