PhD Students Volunteer at Elementary School Science Fair

Six BioE and MIE PhD students volunteered at the annual Broadmeadow Elementary School Science Fair in Needham, Massachusetts, alongside MIE/BioE Professor Sandra Shefelbine. Students from kindergarten to fifth grade presented their individual projects, which the volunteer judges carefully evaluated and determined two winners per grade. This engagement continues a tradition of collaboration, with Professor Shefelbine having participated in the school’s inaugural science fair featured in Wicked Local in 2019.
