Lee Receives Outstanding Graduate Student Award in Humanics

Data analytics engineering student Katharine Lee, MS’24, received the 2023 Outstanding Graduate Student Award in Humanics, which recognizes graduate students who, through their education, have integrated human literacy with data and technology in their learning or research.

Lee is a graduate research assistant for the Kauffman Foundation-funded project that aims to promote supplier diversity in higher education. By collating data and reaching out to stakeholders, she has significantly contributed to our project which can potentially impact diverse suppliers and their communities. Expanding opportunities to diverse suppliers can be a meaningful avenue to close socioeconomic gaps in our society.
