With a focus on data-driven approaches, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence techniques, this research empowers us to understand and optimize complex systems, driving innovation and facilitating effective decision-making across various domains. MIE researchers employ a range of engineering tools and methodologies, such as probability and statistics, data mining, simulation, optimization, and human factors engineering, to enhance access, efficiency, effectiveness, quality, and safety of various systems. This interdisciplinary approach analyzes and addresses problems at different levels, while considering multiple settings and their interconnectedness.
