SUMMARY:Galante Program Info Session
DESCRIPTION:Join the Galante Engineering Business program for an info session event and learn how you can complement your technical engineering education with business acumen and leadership skill development. \nPlusOne engineering students who enroll in Galante will graduate with an Engineering Business Certificate along with BS and MS degrees\, all without taking any additional coursework. Skills in communications\, public speaking\, leadership\, networking\, and more are also developed via programmatic elements such as leadership roles\, seminars\, workshops\, and corporate events\, among others. \nThere are also multiple exclusive scholarships on offer each year and a guaranteed $1\,000 professional training grant for each student. Galante Fellows are encouraged to network among one another – especially via a mentorship program – and numerous full-time and co-op professional opportunities have been offered to members via a strong alumni network and Industry Networking Council. \nThis event will take place on Thursday April 6th from 6-7pm in Egan Research Center room 440 in a casual setting with pizza provided. This event is a great opportunity to meet current Galante Fellows\, each of whom is dedicated to sharing an overview of a particular component of the program.
