Northeastern University COE students James Sinoimeri, BS/MS’21, chemical engineering, and Marisa Sposato, ME’23, industrial engineering, were selected as recipients of the prestigious Joel Goldenberg Memorial Scholarship for the 2020 academic year.

The Joel Goldenberg Memorial Scholarship program emphasizes careers in pharma, biopharma, and related enterprises and supports the development of engineers and other skilled professionals vital to these industries. The scholarship is funded by the New England Chapter of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), which selects seven recipients and covers the cost of an engineering course for each student. In addition to strong academic standing, selected students must have an active involvement in ISPE, participate in volunteer activities, and be recommended to receive the award by a professor or ISPE professional.
