Energy Systems Alumni Suchart Klaikaew Panelist at 2018 Sensors Expo

Suchart Klaikaew, a 2018 graduate of the MS Energy Systems program and PhD candidate in the MIE department, joined the “Future of Engineering Education” panel session with Roger Grace, or Roger Grace Associates, at the 2018 Sensors Expo at the San Jose Convention Center on June 26-28. As a panelist at North America’s largest conference on sensors and sensor-integrated systems, Suchart shared his experiences and thoughts on the synergy between engineering education and engineering in the workplace. The session addressed both design and systems engineers along with researchers, professors, and students as to how educational institutions can best prepare engineering students for integration into the engineering and academic workplaces.
